"A Certain Slant of Light" for brass quintet, organ and percussionist, was commissioned by St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Chattanooga, TN in 2015. This 18 minute, five-movement work as inspired by a poem by the American poet, Emily Dicksion. The five movements are as follows:

I. Heavenly Hurt

II. Internal Difference

III. Landscape Listens

IV. Shadows Hold Their Breath

V. Illumination

"Tone Poem on Taps" was composed in 2011-2012 in honor of the 150th Anniversary of the creation of America's most famous bugle call, 'Taps."  The work was premiered by the United States Army Band at West Point (the "West Point Band") under the direction of the composer.  This recording is by the Maryland Defence Force Band, under the direction of Lt. Colonel Jari Villanueva.

ONYX is a fanfare-like work, about 2 minutes in duration, composed for 2 trumpets, horn, trombone, and tuba (or, bass trombone).
